Job Description:

As a Manager at Barn Joo, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive the best dining experience possible. You will manage staff, oversee the preparation of meals, and ensure all health and safety restaurant policies are followed.

 

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all culinary and restaurant activities
• Oversee guest services and resolve issues
• Ensure a high quality of ingredients and food preparation
• Train and manage kitchen personnel and staff schedules
• Create and adjust staff schedules to meet restaurant needs
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
• Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
• Control costs and minimize waste

 

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a managerial role is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome those willing to learn and grow in the role.
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Korean is advantageous due to a diverse clientele.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and capable of providing a Tax Report.

 

Compensation:

• Salary is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process.
